Raquel Welch is an American singer and actress. She got attention for her role in Fantastic Voyage in 1966 and landed a contract with 20th Century Fox. She starred in One Million Years B.C in the same year. She then starred in Bedazzled in 1967, Bandolero in 1968, 100 Rifles in 1969, Myra Breckinridge in 1970, and Hannie Caulder in 1971.

In 1974, she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Pictures Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her performance in The Three Musketeers. She was also nominated for her performance in the film Right to Die in 1987 at the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in Televesion Film. In 1998, she was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actress in her movie The Chairman of the Board in 1982.

She obtained a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1994. She received an award for the Imagen Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award for her promotion of the Latin heritage in 2001. The Film Society of Lincoln Center presented a remarkable compilation of the films of Raquel Welch at the Walter Reade Theater.

Raquel also had supporting roles in the comedy film Legally Blonde in 2001 and was followed by Forget About It in 2006. She also played a role in the Ultimate Legacy in 2015.
